ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. A00Y8FA

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the guide and separate the No. 1 water hose clamp bracket.

    3. for LHD:


      1. A00Y9T0

        Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    4. for RHD:


      1. A00Y5N6

        Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    5. A00Y7M7

      Remove the 3 bolts.

    6. Disconnect the connector and remove the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).
