NAVIGATION SYSTEM(except Sedan) Data Signal Circuit between Stereo Jack Adapter and Extension Module

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a USB device to the navigation ECU via this circuit.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the u4 navigation ECU connector.

   2. Disconnect the u1 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

   3. 

      *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Navigation ECU)
      *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition u1-2 (UDO-) - u4-2 (US1-) Always Below 1 Ω u1-3 (UDO+) - u4-3 (US1+) Always Below 1 Ω u1-5 (UJSS) - u4-5 (USG1) Always Below 1 Ω u1-2 (UDO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher u1-3 (UDO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher u1-5 (UJSS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
