RADIO ANTENNA CORD(for Hatchback) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna)


    1. Engage the 6 clamps.

    2. Connect the connector to install the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Align the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly positioning tape with the markings on the roof headlining assembly.

      *A for Standard Roof *B for Glass Roof
      *a Notch *b Hollow
      *c Marking - -
      A01LWAG Positioning Tape A01M1XR Adhesive Tape
      A01LZQW Front - -

    2. for Glass Roof:


      1. Push the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly into the hollow of roof headlining assembly.

    3. Install the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly to the roof headlining with new adhesive tape.

      Note


      • Apply the tape securely in place.

      • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

    4. Install the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly to the notch of the roof headlining assembly.

  3. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Instrument Panel Side)


    1. for LHD:


      1. Engage the 6 clamps.

      2. Install the antenna cord sub-assembly with the bolt.

        Torque:
        7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

      3. Connect each connector.

    2. for RHD:


      1. Engage the 5 clamps.

      2. Install the antenna cord sub-assembly with the bolt.

        Torque:
        7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

      3. Connect each connector.

  5. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/ Radio Receiver)
