DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a USB device to the radio and display receiver assembly via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the u2 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the u1 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      u2-2 (US1-) - u1-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      u2-3 (US1+) - u1-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      u2-5 (USG1) - u1-5 (UJSS) Always Below 1 Ω
      u2-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      u2-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      u2-5 (USG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
