  1. CONFIRM MODEL


    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the E1 and E60 radio and display receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E1-7 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E1-4 (+B1) - E1-7 (GND1) Always 11 to 14 V
      E1-3 (ACC1) - E1-7 (GND1) Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      E60-1 (IG) - E1-7 (GND1) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - ENGINE STOP AND START ECU)


    1. Disconnect the E1 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the E24 engine stop and start ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E1-4 (+B1) - E24-2 (BO1) Always Below 1 Ω
      E1-3 (ACC1) - E24-3 (ACO) Always Below 1 Ω
      E1-4 (+B1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E1-3 (ACC1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the E1 and E60 radio and display receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Reconnect the E24 engine stop and start ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E1-7 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E1-4 (+B1) - E1-7 (GND1) Always 9.5 to 14 V
      E1-3 (ACC1) - E1-7 (GND1) Ignition switch ACC 9.5 to 14 V
      E60-1 (IG) - E1-7 (GND1) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
