  1. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      *a On
      *b Off
      *c Terminal
      *d Nut

      Measure the resistance between the connector terminal and the nut inside the parking brake switch assembly.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      Terminal - Nut On (When shaft is not pressed) Below 1 Ω
      Terminal - Nut Off (When shaft is pressed) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the value is not as specified, replace the parking brake switch assembly.
