DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives a +B line open signal from the steering angle sensor.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE TERMINAL)

      (to Steering Angle Sensor)

      Remove the steering wheel and column cover.

    2. Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

    3. Disconnect the E19 steering angle sensor connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E19-5 (BAT) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      E19-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND TERMINAL)

      Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E19-1 (ESS) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
