DESCRIPTION

There is a switch circuit inside the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver. The tire pressure warning ECU and receiver switches to the tire pressure warning system function when an IG ON signal is received and switches to the wireless door lock control system (w/o Entry and Start System) function when an IG OFF signal is received. If the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver does not switch to the tire pressure warning system function when an IG ON signal is received, DTC C2162/62 is stored.

  • When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the GTS and write them down before removal.

  • It is necessary to perform initialization (Click here ) after registration Click here of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver if the ECU has been replaced.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (C2162/62)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Chassis > Tire Pressure Monitor > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the ignition switch off.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Check for DTCs.

      Chassis > Tire Pressure Monitor > Trouble Codes
      OK
      DTC C2162/62 is not output.
