REVOLUTION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NT)

   
   

   1. Apply Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE to a new O-ring.

   2. Install the O-ring to the transmission revolution sensor (NT).

   3. Install the transmission revolution sensor (NT) to the continuously variable transaxle assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   4. Connect the transmission revolution sensor (NT) connector.

2. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NOUT)

   
   

   1. Apply Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE to a new O-ring.

   2. Install the O-ring to the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT).

   3. Install the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT) to the continuously variable transaxle assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   4. Connect the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT) connector.

3. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NIN)

   
   

   1. Apply Toyota Genuine CVT fluid FE to a new O-ring.

   2. Install the O-ring to the transmission revolution sensor (NIN).

   3. Install the transmission revolution sensor (NIN) to the continuously variable transaxle assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   4. Connect the transmission revolution sensor (NIN) connector.

4. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (for 1ZR-FE)

6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 1ZR-FE)
