OIL COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 1ZR-FE)

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2ZR-FE)

   Click here

3. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (for 1ZR-FE)

   Click here

4. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (for 2ZR-FE)

   Click here

5. DRAIN CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE FLUID

   Click here

6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for 1ZR-FE)

   Click here

7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for 2ZR-FE)

   Click here

8. DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE

   
   

   1. 

      Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses from the transmission oil cooler.

9. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 3 bolts and transmission oil cooler from the continuously variable transaxle assembly.

   2. Remove the 2 O-rings from the transmission oil cooler.
