MULTI-MODE MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Half Cover Type)

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Full Cover Type)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

    Click here

  4. INSPECT MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL


    1. A01M34XC02
      *1 Manual Transmission Filler Plug

      Remove the manual transmission filler plug and gasket.

    2. A01LZIRC02
      *a 0 to 5 mm

      Check that the oil level is between 0 and 5mm (0.197 in.) from the bottom lip of the manual transmission filler plug opening.

      Note

      An excessively large or small amount of manual transaxle oil may cause problems.

    3. Check for oil leakage when the oil level is low.

    4. A01M34XC01
      *1 Manual Transmission Filler Plug

      Install a new gasket and the manual transmission filler plug.

      Torque:
      39.2 N*m  { 400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }
