MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  2. INSPECT MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL


    1. A00YAJO

      Remove the manual transmission filler plug and gasket.

    2. A00Y5RHC02
      *a 0 to 5 mm

      Check that the oil surface is between 0 and 5 mm (0.20 in.) from the bottom lip of the manual transmission filler plug opening.

      Note

      An excessively large or small amount of manual transaxle oil may cause problems.

    3. Check for oil leakage when the oil level is low.

    4. A00YAJO

      Install a new gasket and the manual transmission filler plug.

      Torque:
      39.2 N*m  { 400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }
