CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER(for EA66) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch release cylinder assembly and clutch line bracket to the manual transaxle assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
  2. CONNECT CLUTCH LINE


    1. Install the clutch line clamp to the clutch release cylinder assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
    2. Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, connect the clutch line.

      Torque:
      15.2 N*m  { 155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 250 mm (9.84 in.).

      • Use the torque value compensation formula to calculate the torque value for use when a torque wrench is combined with a tool such as a union nut wrench.

  3. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID

  4. BLEED CLUTCH LINE

  5. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR

  6. INSPECT FOR FLUID LEAK
