GENERATOR(for 90A Type) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE GENERATOR PULLEY CAP

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Generator Pulley Cap

      Using a screwdriver, remove the generator pulley cap.

2. REMOVE GENERATOR WITH CLUTCH PULLEY

   
   
   1. 

      *a	8 mm Hexagon Wrench

      Set SST and an 8 mm hexagon wrench as shown in the illustration.

      SST

      09820-30010

   2. Secure the generator assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

   3. 

      *a	Hold
      *b	Turn
      *c	8 mm Hexagon Wrench

      While holding SST in place, rotate the 8 mm hexagon wrench clockwise, and remove the generator with clutch pulley.

      Note

      Check that the drive end frame is secured in the vise tightly.
