GENERATOR(for 80A Type) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. B00424NE01

      Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      Bolt A
      54 N*m  { 551 kgf*cm, 40 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt B
      35 N*m  { 357 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    3. Install the 2 wire harness brackets with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.4 N*m  { 86 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the 2 connectors and 2 clamps.

    5. Connect the wire harness to terminal B and install the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    6. Install the terminal cap.

  2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
