DRIVE BELT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT


    1. Install the V-ribbed belt.

  2. ADJUST V-RIBBED BELT


    1. B0044LBN05

      Turn the bolt (C) to adjust the tension of the V-ribbed belt.

    2. Tighten the bolts (A) and (B).

      Torque:
      Bolt A
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt B
      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not loosen the bolt (D).

  3. INSPECT V-RIBBED BELT

  4. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

    Click here

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Full Cover Type)


    1. Install the No. 1 engine under cover with the 6 bolts and 11 clips.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Half Cover Type)


    1. Install the No. 1 engine under cover with the 6 bolts and 7 clips.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for Metal Type)


    1. Install the No. 1 engine under cover with the 2 clips and 9 bolts.

  8. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH

    Torque:
    103 N*m  { 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf }
