ENGINE UNIT(w/ Glow Plug Controller) REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE STUD BOLT

   Note

   If any of the stud bolts is deformed or the threads are damaged, replace it.

   
   

   1. Using E6 and E8 "TORX" socket wrenches, remove the 4 stud bolts from the oil pan sub-assembly.

      LH Side

   2. Using E6 and E8 "TORX" socket wrenches, install the 4 stud bolts to the oil pan sub-assembly.

      *c	24 mm (0.945 in.)	*d	14 mm (0.551 in.)
      *e	9 mm (0.354 in.)	*f	80 mm (3.15 in.)
      *g	27 mm (1.06 in.)	*h	13 mm (0.512 in.)

      Torque:

      Stud bolt (A)

      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Stud bolt (B)

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
