CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 CRANK POSITION SENSOR


    1. for Exhaust side:


      1. B0044IG

        Disconnect the No. 1 crank position sensor connector.

      2. Remove the bolt and No. 1 crank position sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

        Note

        If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

    2. for Intake side:


      1. B0043FE

        Disconnect the No. 1 crank position sensor connector.

      2. Remove the bolt and No. 1 crank position sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

        Note

        If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.
