CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CRANK POSITION SENSOR


    1. A012FDKC01
      *1 O-ring

      Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the crank position sensor.

      Note

      If reusing the crank position sensor, be sure to inspect the O-ring.

    2. Install the crank position sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

      • Make sure that the O-ring is not damaged or does not jump out of position during installation.

    3. Engage the crank position sensor wire harness clamp to the wire harness bracket.

    4. Connect the connector to the crank position sensor.

  2. INSTALL MANIFOLD STAY


    1. Install the manifold stay with 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL CYLINDER BLOCK SIDE COVER

  5. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
