PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY


    1. Check that the throttle valve opens and closes smoothly.

    2. Check that there is no sludge accumulated around the diesel throttle body assembly.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (M-) - 2 (M+) 20°C (68°F) 0.3 to 100 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the diesel throttle body assembly.
