VACUUM TANK ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT VACUUM TANK (VACUUM SURGE TANK)

      Check that air flows from the port (B) to the port (A).

   2.

      Port B

      Using a vacuum pump, apply 67 kPa (500 mmHg, 19.7 in.Hg) of vacuum to the port (B). Check that there is no change in vacuum after 1 minute.

      If the operation is not as specified, replace the vacuum tank (vacuum surge tank).
