INTERCOOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN COOLANT (for Intercooler)

    Click here

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR

    Click here

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 1 TURBO WATER HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 turbo water hose from the intercooler assembly.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 4 TURBO WATER HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 4 turbo water hose from the intercooler assembly.

  6. REMOVE INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts and disconnect the intercooler assembly from the throttle body with motor assembly.

      Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the 2 No. 1 intercooler water hoses from the intercooler assembly.

    3. A00306B

      Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the No. 2 turbo water pipe sub-assembly from the intercooler assembly.

    4. A00313T

      Loosen the hose clamp and remove the intercooler assembly from the air tube assembly and throttle body with motor assembly.

    5. A002ZY7

      Remove the throttle body gasket from the intercooler assembly.
