ROOF SUNSHADE DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and drive gear.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 SLIDING ROOF HOUSING BRACKET

      Remove the 3 nuts and 3 No. 2 sliding roof housing brackets.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 SLIDING ROOF HOUSING BRACKET

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 No. 1 sliding roof housing brackets.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A002NW6

      Remove the 6 screws and sliding roof housing frame sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 4 screws and 4 sliding roof guide rail stoppers.

    3. Slide the No. 1 sunshade trim in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration until the sliding roof drive cables can be seen.

    4. Disconnect the 2 sliding roof drive cables from the No. 1 sunshade trim and remove the No. 1 sunshade trim.

      Note

      Do not bend or twist the sliding roof drive cable as it will damage the cable.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Slide the No. 2 sunshade trim and remove it.

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Slide the No. 3 sunshade trim and remove it.

  7. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF CABLE GUIDE CASING

      Remove the 2 sliding roof cable guide casings.
