  1. INSPECT BLOWER RESISTOR

      Component without harness connected

      (Blower Resistor)
      *2 for LHD
      *3 for RHD

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (HI) - 4 (E) Always 3.12 to 3.60 Ω
      3 (M2) - 4 (E) Always 1.45 to 1.67 Ω
      2 (M1) - 4 (E) Always 0.52 to 0.60 Ω
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      4 (HI) - 1 (E) Always 3.12 to 3.60 Ω
      2 (M2) - 1 (E) Always 1.45 to 1.67 Ω
      3 (M1) - 1 (E) Always 0.52 to 0.60 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the blower resistor.
