GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

    2. Temporarily install the generator assembly with the bolt.

    3. Temporarily install the adjusting bar with the 2 bolts.

    4. A002LSQ

      Tighten the bolt.

      Torque:
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

    5. Install the wire harness to terminal B with the nut and install the terminal cap.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    6. Connect the connector and attach the wire harness clamp.

  2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

  3. ADJUST V-RIBBED BELT

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. INSPECT V-RIBBED BELT

  6. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

  8. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
