DIESEL THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

      Detach the 2 clamps.

      Using a T27 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts.

    3. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR HOSE

      Loosen the hose clamp and remove the No. 3 air hose from the air tube assembly.

  4. REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

      Detach the water by-pass hose assembly and radiator hose sub-assembly from the air tube assembly.

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    3. A002P8D

      Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector.

    4. A002LJ8

      Disconnect the No. 7 engine wire connector and detach the clamp.

    5. A002PAC

      Using a T27 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the bolt and disconnect the air tube assembly from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

    6. A002MP0

      Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 bolts and diesel throttle body assembly with air tube assembly and gasket.

    7. Detach the 2 claws and remove the air tube assembly from the diesel throttle body assembly.

    8. Remove the gasket from the air tube assembly.

    9. A002MTX

      Disconnect the diesel throttle body assembly connector.
