ACCELERATOR PEDAL ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester main switch on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Accel Sensor Out No. 1, Accel Sensor Out No. 2.

    5. A002P95E01
      *1 Depressed
      *2 Released

      Read the value displayed on the intelligent tester.

      Standard Voltage
      Item Condition Specified Condition
      Accel Sensor Out No. 1 Released 0.5 to 1.1 V
      Depressed 2.6 to 4.5 V
      Accel Sensor Out No. 2 Released 1.2 to 2.0 V
      Depressed 3.4 to 5.0 V

      If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal, wire harness or ECM.
