ENGINE STOP AND START ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. READ NUMBER OF STARTER OPERATIONS

  2. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH (for LHD)

    1. Disconnect the 8 connectors and clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and ECU integration box RH.

  7. REMOVE ENGINE STOP AND START ECU (for LHD)

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the engine stop and start ECU from the ECU integration box RH.

  8. REMOVE ENGINE STOP AND START ECU (for RHD)

      Remove the screw and disconnect the connector holder.

    2. A002NZA

      Disconnect the 3 connectors from the engine stop and start ECU.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and engine stop and start ECU.
