The lane departure alert system operates using systems shared with the pre-collision system. When a malfunction is detected in the pre-collision system, a malfunction also occurs in the lane departure alert system.

  2. FUNCTION OF WARNING INDICATOR AND MESSAGE


    1. Initial check


      1. Turn the ignition switch off. Wait for at least 2 seconds, and then turn the ignition switch to ON. Lane departure alert system diagnosis is performed for approximately 5 seconds.

      2. If a malfunction is detected during the initial check, "CHECK LDA SYSTEM" is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly 5 seconds after the initial check completes.

        Tech Tips

        "CHECK LDA SYSTEM" is displayed when a DTC is stored due to the detection of a malfunction.
