THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL THERMOSTAT

   
   

   1. 

      Align the jiggle valve with the top of the water inlet to install the jiggle valve.

2. INSTALL WATER INLET

   
   

   1. Temporarily install the water inlet together with the thermostat with the 4 bolts by hand.

   2. Using several steps, uniformly tighten the 4 bolts.

      Tech Tips

      Refer to "SPECIFICATIONS - STANDARD BOLT" for the tightening torque.

3. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

4. INSTALL COMPRESSOR WITH PULLEY ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
