PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH)


    1. Inspect the combination switch (headlight cleaner switch).

        Component without harness connected

        (Combination Switch Assembly (Headlight cleaner switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        4 (B) - 14 (L) Headlight cleaner switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        Headlight cleaner switch on Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly (headlight cleaner switch).

    2. Check the illumination.

        (Combination Switch Assembly)

        Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the LED illumination conditions.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → E125-7 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → E125-12 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.
