HEADLIGHT CLEANER ACTUATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE


    1. Attach the 4clamps and install the headlight cleaner hose.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER BRACKET LH


    1. Clean the front bumper cover surface.


      1. Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      Using a brush or felt, apply primer or equivalent to the headlight cleaner washer bracket LH installation area.

      Note


      • Use a clean brush or felt.

      • Do not touch the front bumper assembly until the primer has dried.

    3. Peel off the release paper from the headlight cleaner washer bracket LH.

      Align the headlight cleaner washer bracket LH with the mark on the front bumper cover and install it.

      Note

      The double sided tape of a headlight cleaner washer bracket LH will deteriorate if it is detached. Make sure to replace the headlight cleaner washer bracket LH with a new one when reattachment is necessary.

      Tech Tips

      Press on and install the headlight cleaner washer bracket LH firmly so that there is no clearance between the headlight cleaner washer bracket LH and front bumper cover.

    5. Install the screw.

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER LH


    1. Attach the claw to install the headlight cleaner washer nozzle cover LH.

  5. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Temporarily install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. B0018OD

      Install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH with the headlight cleaner clamp.

    3. B001AM5

      Attach the claw and connect the headlight cleaner hose.

  7. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
