Note
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.
REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH
Using moulding remover A, detach the 3 claws and remove the rear door inside handle bezel plug LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL LH
Using moulding remover B, detach the 2claws and 2 clips, guide.
Disconnect the connector and remove the rear door upper armrest base panel LH and rear power window regulator switch assembly.
REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH BEZEL
REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM COVER
Using a clip remover, detach the clip and remove the rear door trim cover.
REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
REMOVE DOOR ASSIST GRIP COVER LH
Put protective tape around the door assist grip cover LH.

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws.

Detach the guide and remove the door assist grip cover LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Remove the 2 screws.
Detach the 11 clips.
Remove the rear inner door glass weatherstrip LH together with the rear door trim board sub-assembly LH by pulling them upward in the order shown in the illustration.
Tech Tips
Make sure that the pin labeled A in the illustration is detached from the door panel.
Disconnect each connector.
Detach the 2 clamps.
Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the rear door inside locking cable assembly LH.
Disconnect the rear door lock remote control cable assembly LH from the rear door inside handle sub-assembly LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH
Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the rear door inner glass weatherstrip LH from the rear door trim board sub-assembly LH.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Note
Squeeze the metal clip to remove it.
The metal clip may be deformed if it is forcibly pulled.
REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Detach the claw.
Detach the guide and remove the rear door inside handle sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 19 Speakers)
REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 19 Speakers)
REMOVE REAR SPEAKER SET
REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH
Using a clip remover, detach the 8 clamps.
Remove the bolt and disconnect the 3 connectors.
Remove the rear door service hole cover LH.
Tech Tips
Remove the remaining tape on the door.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH
Remove the rear door glass run LH from the window frame.
REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR LOWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Remove the 2 bolts.
Remove the screw and rear door rear lower window frame sub-assembly LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS LH
Remove the rear door quarter window glass LH and rear door quarter window weatherstrip LH as a unit as shown in the illustration.
REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP LH
Remove the rear door quarter window weatherstrip LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Remove the rear door glass sub-assembly LH from the rear door window regulator sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
Note
Do not damage the door glass.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS CHANNEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Using a screwdriver, remove the rear door glass channel sub-assembly LH.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS CHANNEL FILLER
Remove the rear door glass channel filler.
REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH
Detach the clip and remove the rear door frame garnish LH.
Tech Tips
The rear door frame garnish LH needs to be replaced with a new one because the clip will break when removing the rear door frame garnish LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR NO. 2 FRAME GARNISH LH
Detach the clip and remove the rear door No. 2 frame garnish LH.
Tech Tips
The rear No. 2 door frame garnish LH needs to be replaced with a new one because the clip will break when removing the rear No. 2 door frame garnish LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

Loosen the temporary bolt.
Note
Do not remove the temporary bolt. If the temporary bolt is removed, the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH may fall and become damaged.
Remove the 3 bolts and rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH.
Note
Be careful when removing the bolts as the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH may fall and become damaged.
Remove the temporary bolt from the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH.
REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE REAR DOOR NO. 3 WEATHERSTRIP LH
Detach the claw and remove the rear door No. 3 weatherstrip LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT WINDOW FRAME MOULDING LH
REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER LH
Using a T30 "TORX" socket, loosen the screw.
Detach the claw and remove the rear door outside handle cover LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH
Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the 2 claws.
Tech Tips
Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and disconnect the connector.

Detach the 2 claw and disconnect the holder.
Remove the rear door outside handle assembly LH by sliding and pulling it in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
REMOVE REAR DOOR NO. 1 OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD LH
Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear No. 1 door outside handle pad LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR NO. 2 OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD LH
Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear No. 2 door outside handle pad LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
Detach the clamp.
Using a T30 ''TORX'' socket, loosen the "TORX" screw.

Detach the nut and 2 guides and remove the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH.
Slide the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH and No. 4 electrical key wire harness to remove them.
Tech Tips
Remove the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH through the service hole.
REMOVE NO. 4 ELECTRICAL KEY WIRE HARNESS
Detach the 2 clamps, and remove the No. 4 electrical key wire harness from the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH.
REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY LH
Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and rear door check assembly LH.
Tech Tips
Remove the rear door check assembly LH through the service hole.
Note
Be careful when removing the bolt and nuts as the rear door check assembly LH may fall and become damaged.
REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH

Detach the 21 clips and remove the rear door weatherstrip LH.
Tech Tips
If clips are damaged during removal, replace them.
