  • The procedures listed below are for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL COOLER (COOL BOX) EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01WQKT

      Install the cooler (cool box) evaporator sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL COOL BOX BLOWER WITH FAN MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01WUKW

      Attach the 4 claws to install the cool box blower with fan motor sub-assembly.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 COOLER THERMISTOR

      Install the No. 3 cooler thermistor.

    2. A01WR8S

      Install a new cool box insulator, as shown in the illustration.

  4. INSTALL UPPER COOLING UNIT CASE


    1. A01WWYX

      Align the case with the grooves and slide the case to install it.

    2. Attach the 2 hooks to close the upper cooling unit case.

    3. A01WQ32

      Install the cooling unit case.

  5. INSTALL LOWER COOLING UNIT CASE

    1. Install the lower cooling unit case with the 4 holding springs.

    2. Connect the 3 connectors.

    3. Install the screw.

  6. INSTALL LIQUID HOSE

    1. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the cooler (cool box) evaporator sub-assembly.

      Compressor oil
      ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

    2. Install the O-ring to the liquid hose.

    3. Install the liquid hose to the cooler (cool box) evaporator sub-assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL COOLER CONTROL SWITCH SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the cooler control switch sub-assembly.

  8. INSTALL COOLING BOX BASE

      Install the cooling box base with the 10 screws.

    2. A01WQ9R

      Install the new packing.

    3. A01WQ34

      Install the new packing.

    4. A01WRW4

      Install the air duct with the 3 screws.

  9. INSTALL COOLING BOX BRACKET


    1. A01WQ1R

      Install the cooling box bracket with the 2 screws.

    2. A01WWI4

      Install the upper mounting bracket RH with the 2 screws.

  10. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLING BOX BRACKET


    1. A01WTOE

      Install the No. 2 cooling box bracket with the 2 screws.

    2. A01WVR3

      Install the upper mounting bracket LH with the 2 screws.

  11. INSTALL COOL BOX AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01WVAG

      Install the cool box air conditioning amplifier assembly with the screw.

    2. Connect the connector.

  12. INSTALL COOLING UNIT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Attach the 8 claws to install the cooling unit case sub-assembly.

    2. Install the 4 screws.

    3. A01WRIX

      Attach the 8 claws to install the upper panel.

      Install the air duct sub-assembly with the clip.

  13. INSTALL COOL BOX CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01WRKW

      Install the cool box console compartment door sub-assembly with the 6 screws.

  14. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET

  15. INSTALL COOLING BOX TRAY


    1. Install the cooling box tray.
