PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 AIR DUCT

    1. Remove the 2 screws and rear No. 1 air duct.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle.

  4. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Detach the 7 claws, 5 clips and 9 guides and remove the defroster nozzle assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE (PASSENGER AIRBAG)

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER WITHOUT DOOR AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE


    1. Detach the clamps and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  8. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Detach the clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector and detach the clamps.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  11. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  12. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector and detach the clamps.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 4 instrument panel register assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  13. REMOVE MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL HOLE COVER RETAINER

    1. Remove the 2 screws and instrument panel hole cover retainer.

  15. REMOVE METER HOOD SPACER

    1. Detach the 8 claws and remove the meter hood spacer.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 SWITCH HOLE BASE

    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 2 switch hole base.

  17. REMOVE GLOVE BOX LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  18. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the glove compartment door sub-assembly.

  19. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT PLATE

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the glove compartment plate.

  20. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER LH

    1. Detach the 2 claws and 3 guides and remove the lower instrument cover LH.

  21. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both console compartment door cushions.

      Remove the console compartment door cushion.

  22. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 screws and glove compartment door lock assembly.

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the glove compartment door lock cover.

  24. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK PIN

    1. Remove the glove compartment door lock pin.
