(to No. 1 Cooler Wiring Harness Sub-assembly)

Disconnect the No. 1 cooler wiring harness sub-assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
1 - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    NG
    OK
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 1 COOLER WIRING HARNESS SUB-ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)

    1. A01WR9BE02
      Text in Illustration
      *a

Front view of wire harness connector

(to No. 1 Cooler Wiring Harness Sub-assembly)

Disconnect the No. 1 cooler wiring harness sub-assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      6 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG
    OK
  3. CHECK NO. 1 COOLER WIRING HARNESS SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Replace the No. 1 cooler wiring harness sub-assembly with a normal one and check that the condition returns to normal.

      OK
      Same problem does not occur.

    OK
    NG
  4. CHECK COOLER MAGNET VALVE ASSEMBLY

    1. Replace the cooler magnet valve assembly Click here.

      Tech Tips

Since the cooler magnet valve cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the cooler magnet valve with a normal one and check that the condition returns to normal.

      OK
      Same problem does not occur.

    OK
    NG
