CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SWITCH(w/ Climate Control Seat System) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH

   
   

   1. for LH Side, w/o Steering Heater:

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the refreshing seat switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch illuminates.

         Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → A20 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → A3 (ILL-) Illuminates Battery positive (+) → B2 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → B5 (ILL-)

         If the result is not as specified, replace the refreshing seat switch.

   2. for LH Side, w/ Steering Heater:

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the refreshing seat switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch illuminates.

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 2 (E) - 16 (SWH) Seat heater switch pressed Below 1 Ω Seat heater switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher 2 (E) - 15 (SWB) Seat blower switch pressed Below 1 Ω Seat blower switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the refreshing seat switch.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the refreshing seat switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch indicator illuminates.

         OK

      3. Apply battery voltage to the refreshing seat switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch illuminates.

         If the result is not as specified, replace the refreshing seat switch.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the refreshing seat switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch indicator illuminates.

         OK
