SEAT HEATER SWITCH(for Front Side) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH


    1. for LH Side:


      1. Apply battery voltage to the refreshing seat switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch illuminates.

        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → A20 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → A3 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        Battery positive (+) → B2 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → B5 (ILL-)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the refreshing seat switch.

    2. for RH Side:

        Component without harness connected

        (Refreshing Seat Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        2 (E) - 16 (SWH) Seat heater switch pressed Below 1 Ω
        Seat heater switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the refreshing seat switch.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the refreshing seat switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch indicator illuminates.

        Battery positive (+) → 18 (IND)

        Battery negative (-) → 11 (IHL)

        		 Seat heater LO indicator illuminates

        Battery positive (+) → 19 (IND)

        Battery negative (-) → 11 (IHL)

        Battery positive (+) → 18 (IND)

        Battery negative (-) → 12 (IHM)

        		 Seat heater MID indicator illuminates

        Battery positive (+) → 19 (IND)

        Battery negative (-) → 12 (IHM)

        Battery positive (+) → 18 (IND)

        Battery negative (-) → 13 (IHH)

        		 Seat heater HI indicator illuminates

        Battery positive (+) → 19 (IND)

        Battery negative (-) → 13 (IHH)

        Battery positive (+) → 18 (IND)

        Battery negative (-) → 5 (IA)

        		 AUTO indicator illuminates

        Battery positive (+) → 19 (IND)

        Battery negative (-) → 5 (IA)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the refreshing seat switch.

      3. Apply battery voltage to the refreshing seat switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch illuminates.
