PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LUMBAR SWITCH LH

    *1 Hold
    *2 Release
    *3 Component without harness connected: (Lumbar Switch)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (B) - 4 (H) Hold Below 1 Ω
      1 (R) - 2 (E2)
      1 (R) - 2 (E2) Off
      4 (H) - 5 (E2)
      1 (R) - 3 (B) Release
      4 (H) - 5 (E2)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the lumbar switch.

  2. INSPECT LUMBAR SWITCH RH

    *1 Release
    *2 Hold
    *3 Component without harness connected: (Lumbar Switch)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (B) - 4 (H) Hold Below 1 Ω
      1 (R) - 2 (E)
      1 (R) - 2 (E) Off
      4 (H) - 5 (E)
      1 (R) - 3 (B) Release
      4 (H) - 5 (E)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the lumbar switch.
