POWER SEAT SWITCH(w/ Automatic Folding-up Function) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FOLD SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    A01WPOCE01

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (TBL) - 5 (E) LH side seat table switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      8 (FOLD) - 5 (E) LH side fold seat switch pressed
      10 (RTRN) - 5 (E) LH side return seat switch pressed
      6 (TBL) - 5 (E) RH side seat table switch pressed
      2 (FOLD) - 5 (E) RH side fold seat switch pressed
      1 (RTRN) - 5 (E) RH side return seat switch pressed

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fold seat switch assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector, and check that the fold seat switch illuminates.

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 7 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)

      		 Switch illuminates

      Battery positive (+) → 4 (IND)

      Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)

      		 L indicator illuminates

      Battery positive (+) → 9 (IND)

      Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)

      		 R indicator illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fold seat switch assembly.
