PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY

    Component with out harness connected:

    (Seat Heater Assembly)

    1. Check the seat heater assembly.


      1. Heat the thermostat with a light.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Seat cushion heater

        Seat cushion heater temperature 20°C (68°F)
        A-1 - B-1 3.19 to 4.32 Ω-
        A-4 - A-2
        A-1 - A-4
        B-1 - B-2
        A-2 - A-3 Temperature 10°C (50°F) to 30°C (86°F) 8.0 to 18 kΩ

        If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly.
