  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. A01WS1VE02

      Attach the 2 clamps in the order indicated in the illustration to install the connector holder.

  2. INSTALL SEAT FRAME SET BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Attach the 2 hooks (A).

    2. Attach the 2 hooks (B) to install the seat frame set bracket.

  3. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System, for Seat Cushion)

      Install the seat climate control controller LH with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH


    1. w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System:


      1. Attach the 4 claws to install the front seat wire LH.

      2. for Driver Side:

        Connect the 4 connectors and attach the 3 wire harness clamps.

      5. Install the clamp.

    2. w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:


      1. Attach the 6 claws to install the front seat wire LH.

      2. for Driver Side:

        Connect the 4 connectors and attach the 3 wire harness clamps.

      5. Connect the earth point of the front seat wire LH.

      6. Install the clamp.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR FILTER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    1. Rotate the No. 1 air filter clockwise to attach the claws and install it.

  6. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Install the seat climate control blower LH with the nut and 2 bolts.

    2. Attach the wire harness clamp.

    3. Connect the connector.

      Attach the 4 claws to connect the seat climate control blower LH.

  7. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Attach the clamp and claw to install the seat heater control sub-assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.

  8. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Attach the 3 claws to install the bush.

  14. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

  15. INSTALL UPPER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT


    1. A01WRPF

      Install the upper active headrest unit with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  16. INSTALL LOWER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT


    1. A01WPHB

      Install the lower active headrest unit with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }
    2. A01WTAS

      Attach the clamp.

    3. Connect the active headrest cable to the upper active headrest unit with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Attach the 2 hooks to install the seatback spring.

    5. A01WUSE

      Attach the 2 hooks.

    6. A01WSO4

      Install the 4 springs.

    7. Connect the active headrest cable from the seatback spring with the clamp.

    8. w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:

        Connect the wire harness with the clamp.

      2. A01WV3F

        Connect the wire harness with the clamp.

  17. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)


    1. Attach the hook (A) to install the connector holder.

    2. Attach the 2 hooks (B).

    1. Apply double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the front seatback protector.

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the front separate type seatback cover to the front separate type seatback pad with 12 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the front separate type seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the front separate type seatback cover.

      Attach the clamp to connect the wire harness.

    3. A01WRNU

      Pass the 2 seatback cover brackets and front separate type seatback cover through the hole of the front separate type seatback pad.

      Note

      After the seatback cover bracket is installed, make sure the seatback cover bracket is not twisted.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the front separate type seatback cover to the front separate type seatback pad with 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the front separate type seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the front separate type seatback cover.

  27. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Install the seatback cover with pad.

    2. A01WQYF

      Install the 2 seatback cover brackets with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Note

      After the seatback cover bracket is installed, make sure the seatback cover bracket is not twisted.

      Attach the 7 hooks.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the 5 new hog rings.

    5. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Attach the 2 claws to connect the seat climate control blower LH.

        Install the 11 clips.

  28. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  29. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION BRACKET

      Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 seat cushion bracket.

  30. INSTALL NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    1. Move the front seatback board sub-assembly LH in the direction of the arrow to attach the 2 hooks and install it.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the front separate type seat cushion cover to the front separate type seat cushion pad with 24 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the front separate type seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the front separate type front seat cushion cover.

      Connect the wire harness to the front separate type seat cushion cover.

  36. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Set the seat cushion cover with pad in place.

        Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover with pad with 4 new hog rings.

        Attach the 4 hooks.

    3. for Front Passenger Side:

        Attach the claw to connect the connector.

      2. Attach the 8 hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.

    4. w/o Climate Control Seat System:

        Connect the connector and attach the wire harness clamp.

        Connect the connector and attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    5. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01WRIV

        Connect the connector and attach the 3 wire harness clamps.

      2. A01WPDP

        Connect the connector and attach the 3 wire harness clamps.

    6. A01WVJU

      Install the 2 clips.

  37. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

    1. Install the front power seat switch LH with the 3 screws.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the front seat cushion shield LH together with the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.

    4. Install the 3 screws.

      Install the 2 screws.

    7. Attach the 2 hooks to connect the 2 rubber bands.

  46. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Attach the 2 claws to install the front seat cushion shield RH together with the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield RH.

    3. Install the 3 screws.

      Connect the connector.

      Install the 2 screws.

    6. Attach the 2 hooks to connect the 2 rubber bands.

  47. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Attach the 2 claws to install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  48. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Attach the 2 claws to install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
