  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP RH


    1. A01WWWI

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover cap RH.

  2. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover A, detach the 2 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  3. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover A, detach the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 hooks and disconnect the 2 rubber bands.

    3. A01WQEP

      Disconnect the connector.

    4. A01WQ6E

      Remove the 3 screws.

    5. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat cushion shield LH together with the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.

    6. A01WPWL

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    7. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 hooks and disconnect the 2 rubber bands.

    3. A01WRDO

      Disconnect the connector.

    4. A01WUP1

      Remove the 3 screws.

    5. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat cushion shield RH together with the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield RH.

    6. A01WRXP

      Disconnect the connector.

  6. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)


    1. A01WVCS

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the claw and guide, and then remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH from the front seat cushion shield LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield RH from the front seat cushion shield RH.

  8. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH

  9. REMOVE SEAT VARIABLE CUSHION SWITCH (for Driver Side)

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  11. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Using a clip remover, detach the clip.

    3. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

  12. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and front power seat switch LH.

  13. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  14. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01WSSI

        Disconnect the connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

      2. A01WQ9M

        Disconnect the connector and detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01WPDP

        Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 wire harness clamps.

      2. A01WRIV

        Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 wire harness clamps.

    4. for Driver Side:


      1. A01WRXA

        Bend the seat frame claws upward.

      2. Detach the 10 hooks.

        Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 hooks.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

        Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover with pad.

    5. for Front Passenger Side:

        Bend the 2 seat frame claws upward.

      2. Detach the 8 hooks.

        Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and disconnect the connector.

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      4. Remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Disconnect the wire harness from the front separate type seat cushion cover.

    2. A01WRM4

      Remove the 24 hog rings and front separate type seat cushion cover from the front separate type seat cushion pad.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Move the front seatback board sub-assembly LH in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 hooks and remove it.

  20. REMOVE NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  21. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION BRACKET

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 seat cushion bracket.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  23. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

        Using a clip remover, remove the 11 clips.

    2. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and disconnect the seat climate control blower LH.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

      Detach the 7 hooks.

      Remove the nut and detach the 2 seatback cover brackets.

    6. A01WRDK

      Remove the seatback cover with pad.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A01WUHD

      Pass the 2 seatback cover brackets and front separate type seatback cover through the hole of the front separate type seatback pad.

    3. A01WPBF

      Detach the clamp and disconnect the wire harness.

    4. A01WW6B

      Remove the 12 hog rings and front separate type seatback cover from the front separate type seatback pad.

    2. Remove any remaining double-sided tape.

  28. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER (w/ Climate Control Seat System, for Seatback)

    2. Detach the 2 hooks (B) and remove the seat climate control controller.

  29. REMOVE INSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the inside reclining adjuster cover LH.

    1. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the inside reclining adjuster cover RH.

  31. REMOVE OUTSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH

    2. Detach the claw and remove the outside reclining adjuster cover LH.

  33. REMOVE CONNECTOR HOLDER (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)

      Detach the clamp and disconnect the wire harness.

    2. Detach the 2 hooks (A).

    3. Detach the hook (B) and remove the connector holder.

  34. REMOVE LOWER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT

        Remove the clamp and disconnect the wire harness.

      2. A01WW8S

        Remove the clamp and disconnect the wire harness.

      Remove the clamp and disconnect the active headrest cable from the seatback spring.

    3. Remove the 4 springs.

      Detach the 2 hooks.

    5. A01WQJS

      Detach the 2 hooks and remove the seatback spring.

    6. A01WTAS

      Remove the nut and detach clamp, and then disconnect the active headrest cable from the upper active headrest unit.

    7. A01WPHB

      Remove the 2 nuts and lower active headrest unit.

  35. REMOVE UPPER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT

      Remove the 4 nuts and upper active headrest unit.

  36. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the bush.

  38. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

    2. Detach the hook.

    3. Detach the guide and remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

    3. Detach the guide and remove the front lower seat cushion shield RH.

  43. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the claw and clamp, and then remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  44. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and disconnect the seat climate control blower LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    4. Remove the nut and 2 bolts, and then remove the seat climate control blower LH.

  45. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR FILTER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    1. Rotate the No. 1 air filter counterclockwise to detach the claws, and then remove it.

  46. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH


    1. w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System:

        Remove the clamp.

      2. Disconnect the connector and detach the 7 wire harness clamps.

      3. for Driver Side:

        Disconnect the 4 connectors and detach the 3 wire harness clamps.

        Disconnect the 3 connectors and detach the wire harness clamp.

      5. Detach the 4 claws and remove the front seat wire LH.

    2. w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:

        Remove the clamp.

      2. Disconnect the connector and detach the 9 wire harness clamps.

      3. Disconnect the earth point of the front seat wire LH.

      4. for Driver Side:

        Disconnect the 4 connectors and detach the 3 wire harness clamps.

      Remove the 2 screws and seat climate control controller LH.

  48. REMOVE SEAT FRAME SET BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
