CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK AIR DUCT


    1. Check that there are no cracks or damage on the air ducts of the seat climate control blower and seatback climate control blower, and that the air ducts are installed correctly.

  2. CHECK CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. for Front Seat:


      1. Check that each seat climate control blower and seatback climate control blower operates when the refreshing seat switch (blower position) is turned on.

      2. Check that the seat blower volume changes according to the operation of the refreshing seat switch (blower position) as follows: HI → MID → LO.

    3. for Rear No. 1 Seat:


      1. Check that each seat climate control blower and seatback climate control blower operates when the cooler control switch (blower position) is turned on.

      2. Check that the seat blower volume changes according to the operation of the cooler control switch (blower position) as follows: HI → MID → LO.

  3. CHECK CLIMATE CONCIERGE OPERATION


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Operate the seat blower switch or seat heater switch of the cooler control switch assembly to set the seat blower to AUTO.

    3. When the climate concierge switch is turned on and the seat blower is set to AUTO, check that the seat blower or seat heater turns on and off according to whether the rear seats are occupied.

      Tech Tips

      When the heater turns on, the seat heater operates. When the air conditioning turns on, the seat blower operates.
