SEAT HEATER SYSTEM Seat Heater for Rear Right Seat does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

When the cooler control switch assembly is operated, the air conditioning amplifier assembly receives the signal. The air conditioning amplifier assembly receives the signal and operates the rear seat heater.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH -BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the seat heater control sub-assembly RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY -SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the E35 and E36 air conditioning amplifier assembly connectors.

    2. Disconnect the d1 seat heater control sub-assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E36-31 (SHPE) - d1-1 (SWR) Always Below 1 Ω
      E35-27 (TFAR) - d1-5 (THR) Always Below 1 Ω
      E35-35 (SG) - d1-2 (PR) Always Below 1 Ω
      E36-31 (SHPE) or d1-1 (SWR) - Body ground Always 10k Ω or higher
      E35-27 (TFAR) or d1-5 (THR) - Body ground Always 10k Ω or higher
      E35-35 (SG) or d1-2 (PR) - Body ground Always 10k Ω or higher
