REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY(w/ Automatic Folding-up Function) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    A01WR3YE01
    *1 Component without harness connected: (Rear Seat Lock Control Lever Sub-assembly)

    1. Apply battery voltage to the lock control lever and check the operation of the lever.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (+)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (-)

      		 Rotates counterclockwise

      Note

      To prevent damage to the unit, do not reverse the connection.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly.

  2. INSPECT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY

    *1 Component without harness connected: (Power Seat Motor Assembly)
    *2 BACK
    *3 Counterclockwise
    *4 Clockwise

    CAUTION:

    Do not apply battery voltage to the sensor connector.


    1. Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor and check the operation of the motor.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (FWD)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (BACK)

      		 Rotates counterclockwise

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (BACK)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (FWD)

      		 Rotates clockwise

      If the result is not as specified, replace the power seat motor assembly.

  3. INSPECT FOLD SEAT LEG LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY

    *1 Counterclockwise
    *2 Clockwise
    *3 Component without harness connected: (Fold Seat Leg Lock Sub-assembly)

    1. Apply battery voltage to the lock motor and check the operation of the motor.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (ACT+)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      		 Rotates clockwise

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ACT-)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      		 Rotates counterclockwise

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fold seat leg lock sub-assembly.

    2. Set the fold seat leg lock sub-assembly to half latch.

    3. A01WRDZE01
      *1 Full Latch
      *2 Half Latch
      *3 Component without harness connected: (Fold Seat Leg Lock Sub-assembly)

      Apply battery voltage to the lock motor connector and check the closer operation.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (ACT+)

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      		 Moves from half latch to full latch

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fold seat leg lock sub-assembly.
