Tech Tips
Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER LH
Apply protective tape to the rear seatback lock striker as shown in the illustration to prevent the seat from locking.
Operate the power seat switch and move the seat to the storage position.
Tech Tips
Make sure that the lock and striker are not engaged.
Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT HINGE COVER LH
Detach the 3 claws and 2 clips, and then remove the cover.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 4 bolts and seat assembly.
Note
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
REMOVE REAR STEP COVER
REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE
REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE REAR ROOF NO. 1 AIR DUCT (for LH Side)
REMOVE NO. 1 WOOFER BOX SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side, w/ Woofer)
REMOVE FOLD SEAT LEG LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector.
Detach the 2 cable clamps.
Remove the 2 nuts and fold seat leg lock.
REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT CUSHION COVER
Detach the 4 clips and 16 claws, and remove the 4 seat cushion covers.
REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Fold back the floor carpet.
Remove the 8 bolts and 4 seat lock strikers.
REMOVE FOLD SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
Detach the 6 clips.
Disconnect the connector and then remove the fold seat switch.
Detach the claw and remove the light.
