DESCRIPTION

DTC Code DTC Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Inspection Area
U0100 ECM communication error. When driving the vehicle at a speed of 5 km/h or more, a communication error between the ECM and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 5 seconds.
  • CAN communication system

  • Driving support ECU assembly

  • ECM

U0125 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the yaw rate sensor and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 1 second.
  • CAN communication system

  • Airbag sensor assembly

  • Driving support ECU assembly

U0126 Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the steering sensor and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 4 seconds.
  • CAN communication system

  • Spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly

  • Driving support ECU assembly

U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 3 seconds.
  • CAN communication system

  • Master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU)

  • Driving support ECU assembly

U0235 Lost Communication with Cruise Control Front Distance Range Sensor When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 1 second.
  • CAN communication system

  • Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly

  • Driving support ECU assembly

U023A Lost Communication with Front Camera Module When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the forward recognition camera and driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 2 seconds.
  • CAN communication system

  • Forward recognition camera

  • Driving support ECU assembly

U1002 Lost Communi cation with Gateway Module

When the engine switch is on (IG), communication between the driving support ECU and any of the following components is abnormal for 2 seconds or more.

  • Forward recognition camera

  • Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly

  • CAN communication system

  • Forward recognition camera

  • Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly

  • Driving support ECU assembly

U1104 Lost Communication with Driving Support ECU
  • When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the driving support ECU assembly and the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is detected for approximately 0.2 seconds.

  • When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the driving support ECU assembly and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 0.2 seconds.

  • When the engine switch is on (IG), a communication error between the driving support ECU assembly and the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) is detected for approximately 1.5 seconds.

  • CAN communication system

  • Master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU)

  • Forward recognition camera

  • Millimeter wave radar sensor assembly

  • Driving support ECU assembly

Tech Tips

When 2 or more DTCs starting with "U" are output simultaneously, inspect the connectors and wire harnesses of each ECU.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Trouble Codes.

    4. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    5. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

    6. Check for DTCs Click here.
