  1. CUSTOMIZE LIGHTING SYSTEM (INT)

    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Record the current settings before customizing.

    Tech Tips

    The following items can be customized.


    1. Customizing with the GTS.


      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize / (desired system).

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Illuminated Entry
        Display Default Contents Setting ECU
        Lighting Time 15 sec. To change the lighting time after closing the door (it will quickly fade out in the case of turning the engine switch on (IG)). 15 sec., 7.5 sec. or 30 sec. Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L when ACC OFF ON Function to light the interior light when the engine switch is turned from on (IG) to off. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock ON Function to light the interior light, etc. when the door is unlocked with a transmitter, door key or door lock control switch. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Room Light when Aprchd ON Dome light illumination (when approaching vehicle). ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Inside Foot Light ON Interior foot light illumination. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Center Console Spot Light ON Center console spot light. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Mirr-Foot-Lgt Approached/Exterior Light Approached ON Function that turns on the outer rear view mirror assembly (outside footwell lights) when the vehicle is approached while carrying the key. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Mirr-Foot-Lgt Unlocked/Exterior Light Unlocked ON Function that turns on the outer rear view mirror assembly (outside footwell lights) when a door is unlocked with the electrical key transmitter or door lock switch of a door. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Light Control ON This function controls the lights. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Interior Light Control ON This function controls the interior lights. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Scuff plate Lamp linked to Door open ON This function controls the scuff plate illumination lights. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
        Interior Illumination Light ON This function controls the interior illumination (door illumination) lights. ON/OFF Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

    2. Customizing with the Multi-display


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Settings / Vehicle Customization / Light Settings.

      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
