  1. ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM


    1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:

      Control Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked When a registered key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area around the doors, the items listed to the right turn on.

      • Map Light Assembly (Front Dome Light)

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly (Rear Dome Light)

      • No. 3 Room Light Assembly (Rear Dome Light)

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly LH (Door Illumination Light)

      • Outer Rear View Mirror (Foot Light)

      • Step Light Assembly
      Door Lock/Unlock-linked When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Map Light Assembly (Front Dome Light)

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly (Rear Dome Light)

      • No. 3 Room Light Assembly (Rear Dome Light)

      • Footwell Light

      • Door Inside Handle Illumination Light Assembly

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly LH (Door Illumination Light)

      • Outer Rear View Mirror (Foot Light)

      • Step Light Assembly
      When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.
      Door Open/Close-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.

      When all doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off. Engine Switch Illumination
      Engine Switch-linked When the engine switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.

      • Footwell Light

      When the engine switch is turned from off to on (ACC or IG), the lights that operate turn on.

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after the following condition is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • An actuation area-linked function is used.

      • No. 3 Room Light Assembly (Rear Dome Light)

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly LH (Door Illumination Light)

      • Outer Rear View Mirror (Foot Light)

      • Step Light Assembly

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after the following condition is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • An engine switch-linked function is used.

      • Map Light Assembly (Front Dome Light)

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly (Rear Dome Light)

      • No. 3 Room Light Assembly (Rear Dome Light)

      • Footwell Light

      • Door Inside Handle Illumination Light Assembly

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after either of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • The door unlock-linked function is active.

      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the engine switch is off.

      • Map Light Assembly (Front Dome Light)

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly (Rear Dome Light)

      • No. 3 Room Light Assembly (Rear Dome Light)

      • Footwell Light

      • Door Inside Handle Illumination Light Assembly

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly LH (Door Illumination Light)

      • Outer Rear View Mirror (Foot Light)

      • Step Light Assembly

  2. BATTERY SAVE SYSTEM


    1. The battery saving control system has the following control functions:

      Control Outline Lights that Operate
      Basic function

      When 20 minutes elapse after the engine switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      Tech Tips

      Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.


      • The engine switch is turned on (ACC or IG).

      • Any door is opened and closed.

      • The luggage compartment door is opened and closed.

      • Any door is unlocked.

      • The key enters any exterior actuation area.

      When 20 minutes elapse after the engine switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      Tech Tips

      Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.
